How to choose an LED video wall pixel pitch
Pixel pitch is the distance between diodes. The right one is the coarsest pitch that still reads from the closest seat, in the light that room actually has.
Closer seats, finer pitch
If people stand near the wall, a coarse pitch looks like a grid. Indoor rooms in this fleet use P2.6 to P3.9: churches, conference rooms, school halls, and lobbies where the front row is close. The survey measures that distance in the real room. A pitch borrowed from a photograph is how a wall gets bought twice.
Daylight wants brightness, not only a fine pitch
Outdoor cabinets here run P3.9 to P6, at 5,000 to 8,000 nits, and they are built to take weather. A fine indoor cabinet in daylight washes out, however small the pitch. Concerts, parades, and concourses live in that outdoor range.
Pitch is chosen with the install or the rental, not as a separate product. Power and data for that wall are Systems. The price is written after the room.
